Platinum Apartments, located in the Nob Hill neighborhood of Albuquerque, is a modern four-story building that was designed to appeal to young professionals who desire a balance of luxury and sustainable living. Within walking distance of Albuquerque’s major transit corridor and almost all desired amenities, Platinum also features a communal sky deck with panoramic views of Albuquerque’s Sandia Mountains and West Mesa, a yoga studio and billiard room. The parking court features electric car charging stations, secure bicycle storage and a dog wash station. The building features a 10kW PV array as well as highly efficient unit-specific mini-split HVAC units. The 75 units range from 565 square foot efficiencies to 1200 square foot two-bedroom apartments each with private balconies or roof decks. Utilizing site-specific and climate-driven solutions to reduce energy, water and resource use, the project has achieved LEED for Homes Platinum certification.
